Izlaidums-Graduation

Here is Gatis holding his certificate of graduation from the Boarding School. We are all so glad that he finished. There was no real ceremony because most of the kids had gone home this week when they had planned to have the event. After church yesterday we celebrated with a cake and some words of encouragement.
Gatis went home yesterday (Sunday) to be with family which is always hard for him. He wanted to spend the next three months with us but it just wasn't possible. Please pray that the Lord will protect him from


all form of evil and that we can enourage him over the summer.

Gatis is a special guy to me - he calls me "grandmother" and I enjoy talking with him. He has learned English from just practicing with us.
