Back in our house!

Home Sweet Home

Many of you had heard that we were having sewer system problems and therefore couldn't stay at home. This situation last for 6 weeks. I praise the Lord that we could stay in the "Yellow House" on the church property but we are all happy to be in our little red house on Brivibas iela. The picture here of me is in the Yellow House kitchen, but the pictures of Liga and Aija are in the kitchen of our place.

During the six weeks of being away, lots of things happened. First, on

Saturday, December 15th our team went caroling and visited people we

thought could use some extra encouragment. We went to 12 homes and had a delightful time. Next we celebrated Christmas on Sunday the 16th with our SundaySchool kids and some other Tilza folks.

I wasn't feeling great on Christmas Day and day after so I stayed inTilza while the others on the team went to various places. Apparently, I really needed the rest.

Then for about 10 days we hosted some folks from Holland and the youth group from Madona (about 2 hours from here) as we all participated in an outreach to another town called Gulbene.

There is so much to tell about that event and I am hoping to make some pictures available here so will post again soon, I hope!!
