Short Holiday

After camp my roommates and I took a short trip to the Western part of Latvia and spent the night in Kuldiga. None of us had been there and enjoyed getting to see this quaint little city and sights along the way.

The next day we drove to the Sea (Baltic Sea) and played in the water or just looked at the beauty. We stayed at a nice hotel and pampered ourselves a bit.

On the way home we reveled in the scenery and "ooed" and "ahed" and the countryside sights. Summer is a lovely time!!!

Narnia English Camp

This year's summer camp in Tilza had the theme of Narnia. Everything revolved around the story including the decorations, the English lessons, campfire skits and small group time. The 26 camps (plus 3 day campers) had a lots of fun and were talking about next summer's camp before they even left here. Some kids expressed an interest in knowing Jesus and gave their life to him. It's now time for us to follow up these decisions and find out how they are doing.
